Kano governor condoles NIPR chairman over father’s death

The governor urged the bereaved family to take solace in the good virtues and legacies left behind by the deceased.

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, on Sunday commiserated with the Chairman, Kano State Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Aliyu Yusuf, over the death of his father, Alaasan Yusuf.

Mr Yusuf, 80, died on Saturday after a prolonged illness.

Mr Yusuf, in a condolence message, described the deceased as a respected elder who contributed significantly to the development of his community.

He said the late Yusuf was known for his good character and commitment to his family and community.

The governor commiserated with the NIPR chairman, members of the deceased’s family, relatives, friends and associates.

He urged the bereaved family to take solace in the good virtues and legacies left behind by the deceased.

Mr Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive Mr Yusuf’s shortcomings, grant him Aljanna Firdaus and give the family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
