Kano Assembly postpones resumption by three weeks

The Kano State House of Assembly has postponed its resumption scheduled for May 16 by three weeks.
Uba Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the Assembly, said the Speaker, Hamisu Ibrahim-Chidari, announced the postponement via a statement.
Mr Ibrahim-Chidari said the House would resume plenary and normal legislative activities on June 6.
However, no reason was indicated for the decision.
