Kaduna: Governor Sani swears in El-Rufai’s SSG, others

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has sworn in Balarabe Lawal as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Mr Lawal was also the SSG during former Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s administration.
Mr Sani also swore in Sani Liman as chief of staff and Habiba Shekarau as the state head of civil service.
He charged them to focus on rural development as that is the priority of his administration.
The governor expressed confidence that they would add value to his administration and assist in stabilising the state for greater development.
Mr Sani assured that his administration would concentrate on developing the rural areas by improving the rural economies through massive infrastructural development.
The governor expressed commitment to delivering his seven-point agenda by ensuring safety and security, upgrading infrastructure, and strengthening institutions, trade and investment.
He also urged the new appointees to deploy their experience to ensure effective service delivery.
Besides, he urged them to be disciplined, loyal and committed to their duties, saying that all hands must be on deck to take the state to greater heights.
