Popular Nollywood actor Murphy Afolabi is dead.

The actor died today in his home after he slipped in the bathroom, his colleagues confirmed to Peoples Gazette.

He was 49 years old.

Famed for his roles in Yoruba movies, Afolabi has starred in over hundreds of Yoruba movies.

The actor has had a successful career of over thirty years after his first debut as a kid actor in Bola Bamigbola (Dagunro)’s Ifa Olokun.
