Jimmy Jatt celebrates six months successful post-kidney transplant

Oluwaforijimi Adewale Amu, popularly known as DJ Jimmy Jatt, took to social media to celebrate six months after a successful kidney transplant.
The popular DJ who had a kidney transplant surgery on March 17, took to his Instagram page today to celebrate with a video which he titled “A NEW LIFE: A kidney transplant Documentary”.
In the video he documented his journey to recovery, narrating how he decided to do the surgery at the Zenith medical and kidney center in Abuja as opposed to traveling to the United States.
“A very successful kidney transplant (exactly 6months today) has futher deepened my appreciation for life’s most important things & gratitude to God,” he captioned his post.
Going further to explain in the video, which was recorded 10 days post-transplant, the celebrity said: “I’m excited. I’m happy I have a second chance at life. That is the most important thing to me.”
“I want to be the face of the survival of kidney disease. I didn’t want to be a victim. I’ve been through it and will now be very open to people generally, on any platform,” Jimmy Jatt added.
Thanking his family and friends for their support, Jimmy Jatt wrote: “I cannot imagine pulling through this without my angels. My wife, my daughters, I love you beyond any words say. And to my siblings, where do I begin to thank you.”
