Israeli drone kills Hezbollah member in south Lebanon

An Israeli drone struck a car deep inside Southern Lebanon, killing a Hezbollah member on Tuesday morning, a Lebanese security source and the Israeli army said.
The Israeli army confirmed that the strike and its aircraft hit and eliminated Hussein Ali Azkul, a significant operative in Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Unit in southern Lebanon.
It was said that Mr Azkul was heavily involved in the planning and execution of attacks against Israel and that his elimination would significantly harm the capabilities of Hezbollah’s aerial unit.
The army added that overnight, it killed another Hezbollah member, who was a member of Hezbollah’s Radwan Forces’ Aerial Unit.
The Iran-backed militia confirmed the death of both fighters.
However, Since the beginning of the Gaza war in October, deaths and injuries have resulted from daily firing on the border between Lebanon and Israel.
