Imo: Police nab woman for child trafficking, rescue three kids

The Imo police command says it arrested a woman for child trafficking in Owerri.
In a statement on Monday, the command spokesman, Henry Okoye, added that three children were rescued.
“Operatives of the Imo state police command’s Quick Intervention Unit have arrested a 36-year-old female suspected of child trafficking and successfully rescued three stolen children (names withheld),” said Mr Okoye.
“The arrest followed thorough investigations and intelligence-led operations carried out on 20th November 2024 in Amajeke, Owerri. The children have since been safely reunited with their parents.
