The National Immigration Service has urged Nigerians to boycott third-party agents while processing their passports.

A statement on Tuesday titled “Important notice to passport applicants” via its X platform read, “Applicants can make payments themselves online via passport.immigration.gov.ng.”

It continued, “Do not patronise third-party agents! Stay vigilant! If you see something, say something.”

The NIS restated its commitment to ensuring transparency and maintaining zero tolerance for corruption.

“The service remains committed to ensuring transparency and maintains its zero tolerance to all forms of corruption,” the statement said.

The agency urged applicants to report any case of third-party agents to https://immigration.gov.ng/accordions/passport/,
nisservicom@immigration.gov.ng, or call the numbers +2348021819988 and +23480607900.
