Ibadan man, 22, arrested for stealing generator

On Wednesday, the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan remanded Toheeb Ahmed, 22, in prison custody for stealing a generator valued at N300,000.
Mr Ahmed was charged with stealing, to which he pleaded guilty.
The magistrate, Oluwabusayo Osho, ordered that Mr Ahmed be remanded in a correctional centre until May 16 for presentation of facts and judgment.
The prosecutor, Olalekan Adegbite, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 18 around the tollgate area of Ibadan.
Mr Adegbite said the accused broke into the office of the complainant, Dauda Akinrinade, and stole his Tiger generator, valued at N300,000.
