Hezbollah fired 165 rockets into northern Israel: IDF

The Israeli military said on Monday that the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah fired around 165 rockets into the north of Israel.
According to the Magen David Adom rescue service, a total of six people were injured, including a one-year-old child, in the Karmiel area of Galilee and the area of Kirjat Ata, just east of Haifa.
The Israel Defense Forces said some projectiles were intercepted by missile defence, and others struck open areas.
Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for several attacks.
The Iran-allied militia has been shelling Israel since the Gaza war began more than a year ago. Israel is responding with massive air strikes and a ground offensive.
According to Israeli figures, 74 people have been killed in the north of the country by shelling from Lebanon since the start of the war, including 43 civilians and 31 soldiers.
More than 640 people have been injured.
