Guber Polls: OAU shifts resumption to March 21

The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, have postponed the resumption of academic activities of the institution earlier scheduled for March 15 to 21.
This is contained in a statement signed by the university’s public relations officer, Abiodun Olanrewaju, on Sunday, in Ile-Ife.
It added that the resumption was shifted due to governorship and the state assembly elections that the INEC postponed from March 11 to 18.
“Consequently, students are expected back on campus on Monday, March 20, 2023, and to resume academic activities accordingly.
“We wish our students safe trips back to the campus.”
