Gov Zulum inaugurates international cattle market in Banki

Gov. Babagana Zulum of Borno, on Monday, inaugurated an international cattle market in Banki as part of his administration’s economic recovery efforts in the state.
“This market now serves as a vital hub for trade between Borno State, the Far North Region of Cameroon, and Chad,” the governor said at the inauguration in Banki Town.
The international cattle market is located in Bama Local Government Area of Borno.
The facility has a 1.8km perimeter fence, 12 large and three ruminant sheds as well as lock up shops, among others.
