Gov Yusuf approves N13.3 billion for Rogo-Mahangi road reconstruction

Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano state has approved the sum of N13.3 billion for reconstruction of the Rogo-Bari-Falgore-Mahangi road.
Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, the director-general, media and publicity to the governor, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Kano.
He said that the project was aimed at facilitating the smooth movement of farm produce and to boost economic activities in the area.
He added that the reconstruction of the nine kilometres Fulatan-Zarewa-Danguzuri Road had been completed by the administration.
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to monitoring the execution of projects across the state to ensure quality delivery.
He expressed gratitude to the people of the area for the warm reception and reassured the community of his administration’s commitment to prioritise their needs for rapid development.
