Gov. Umahi suspends principal secretary for neglecting his work

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi on Friday suspended his Principal Secretary Emmanuel Obasi for one month over dereliction of duty.
Mr Obasi’s suspension is with immediate effect, according to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Kenneth Ugbala.
“Obasi is directed to hand over all government property in his possession to the SSG before the close of work on January 7.
“Strict compliance to this directive is to be ensured,’’ the statement read.
