Gov. Sule donates N25 million for renovation of Jos museum

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has donated N25 million for the renovation of the National Museum, Jos, Plateau State.
Mr Sule made the donation during the 2025 International Museum Day at the museum on Tuesday.
The governor said the donation was part of his commitment to promoting culture, values, and tradition to achieve unity and peace in society.
The National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) organised the event in collaboration with the Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide.
The governor appreciated the NCMM and ECDA for organising the event to promote culture, values, and traditions.
Mr Sule lauded the Eggon nation for their peaceful depositions and called for sustenance.
Also speaking, Nasarawa assembly speaker Danladi Jatau appreciated Mr Sule’s efforts to promote culture, unity, and peace in the state.
Mr Jatau also urged Nigerians to promote their culture for unity, peace, and speedy development.
Also, Mandy David Abuluya, the president, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA), thanked Mr Sule, Emir of Lafia, Sidi Bage, and Gbong Gwom Jos, Jacob Gyang Buba, other traditional rulers and invitees for attending the event.
Linus Kingi, the curator of the national museum in Jos, said the International Museum Day is an annual event observed worldwide on the 18th of May.
