Gov Radda declares Kafur APC stronghold, rallies support for Tinubu

Governor Dikko Radda has declared Kafur council area of Katsina a stronghold of the All Progressives Congress, rallying residents to support President Bola Tinubu and APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
Mr Dikko made the declaration on Wednesday at the Tinubu-Dikko Campaign Rally in Kafur LGA.

He commended the people for their massive turnout and consistent show of love and solidarity, according to a statement by his chief press secretary, Kaula Mohammed.
“Whenever I visit Kafur, you come out in large numbers to welcome me. Your love, respect and support have remained consistent, and I sincerely appreciate you,” the governor said.
According to him, Kafur has continued to demonstrate loyalty to the APC.
“Kafur is for the APC, for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for all our candidates. I thank you for standing with us and praying for lasting peace, security and prosperity in the area,” the governor explained.
The director-general of the campaign, Ahmed Dangiwa, described the rally as a homecoming, recalling that former Governor Aminu Masari hails from Kafur.
“Today, we have come home. The impressive turnout reflects the political foundation and enduring relationships established by former Governor Aminu Bello Masari in this community and across Katsina state,” Mr Dangiwa said.
He commended party leaders, elders, youths and stakeholders for their participation and urged them to preserve unity and avoid divisions as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
Muntari Dandutse, Shuaibu Wakili (Mai Shinkafa), Bishir Saulawa (APC chairman in Katsina), Bature Masari and Kafur LG chairman Surajo Bature declared Kafur’s support for APC and called for sustained mobilisation for all party candidates in the state.
