Gov. Lawal appoints heads of Zamfara electricity, geographical information agencies

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara has approved the appointments of new executive secretaries for Zamfara Electricity Agency (ZEA) and Zamfara Geographic Information System (ZAGIS).
This is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Abubakar Nakwada, on Saturday in Gusau, the state capital.
According to him, Muzammil Muhammad-Idris has been appointed the executive secretary of ZEA, a newly established agency mandated to manage the state’s power policies and initiatives.
He added that Jabir Haruna-Abdulkareem is the new executive secretary of ZAGIS, an establishment saddled with the responsibility of digitising the state’s land administration system.
The SSG quoted the governor as charging the appointees to work with utmost dedication and integrity.
He urged them to embrace innovations and reposition their respective agencies for the development of the state in line with the rescue agenda of his administration.
The appointments take immediate effect.
