Gov Idris distributes food to Kebbi villagers attacked by bandits

Governor Nasir Idris on Sunday distributed food to no fewer than nine households attacked by bandits in Shanga LGA.
Distributing the items to the affected households at Tunga Makera village, Mr Idris expressed dismay over the attack.
The governor, who visited the village, sympathised with the families, friends and entire community over what he described as an ungodly attack, assuring them that his administration is fighting crimes to ensure the safety of lives and property.
The Emir of Yauri, Mohammad Zayannu Abdullahi, accompanied the governor to commiserate with the affected villagers.
“I am going to give all the necessary support to security agencies to enable them to curb the menace across the state, most especially in Yauri and Zuru Emirates, where the cases of insecurity are more pronounced,” stated the Kebbi governor.
He, however, applauded the efforts of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies in the state for their gallant and diligent exercise, which led to the rescue of several kidnapped persons.
