Gov. Buni appoints acting SSG, chief of staff

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has appointed Baba Wali as the acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
A statement on Monday by Mr Buni’s spokesperson, Mamman Mohammed, said the governor also approved the appointment of Abdullahi Gashua as his acting chief of staff.
The statement said both appointments were with immediate effect.
Messrs Wali and Gashua had served in substantive capacities before they were relieved of their duties following the dissolution of the state executive council in May.
