Gov. Badaru, Boroffice support Tinubu, withdraw from APC presidential primary

Governor Mohammed Badaru of Jigawa and Ajayi Boroffice (APC-Ondo) have withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, supporting Bola Tinubu to emerge as the party’s candidate.
They announced their withdrawal while addressing delegates at the APC special national convention on Tuesday in Abuja.
They directed his supporters to vote for Mr Tinubu at the presidential primary election.
Voting is ongoing at Eagle Square.
Former Governors Godswill Akpabio and Ibikunle Amosun had earlier withdrawn from the race urging their supporters to vote for Mr Tinubu.
