Gov. Abdulrazaq pledges to upgrade facilities at Kwara high school

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara has promised to upgrade facilities at the Government High School (GHS), Ilorin, to the best standard.
Mr Abdulrazaq made the promise at the 55th anniversary celebration of the school in Ilorin l. Saturday.
He said the school should expect more investments in the next six months.
The governor, however, urged the Old Students Association to perform their social responsibility for the immediate environment to feel the impact of the school as one of the first-generation schools in the state.
Earlier, the president of the association, Raji Muhammed, urged the state government to beef up school security and introduce a boarding programme to ensure judicious use of rehabilitated hostels.
