Fubara appoints new vice-chancellor of Rivers State University

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved the appointment of Isaac Zeb-Obipi as the new vice-chancellor of the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt.
Mr Fubara announced this on Thursday. He said the appointment was with immediate effect.
The new VC took over from Nlerum Okogbule, who was appointed by former Governor Nyesom Wike on March 5, 2020.
Mr Zeb-Obipi is a professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management and was the director of the university’s Information and Communication Technology Centre before his latest appointment.
