FRSC tasks unit commanders in Osun on accident reduction

Osun State’s command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has charged its unit commanders to be innovative in checking traffic congestion and reducing road accidents on their corridors.
The command also reiterated the need to seek the support of other sister agencies for efficient service delivery.
“The Unit Commanders are to take responsibilities and ensure discipline among staff, and ensure no room for moral decadence,” a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Agnes Ogungbemi, said.
Ms Ogungbemi said the charge was a fallout of a recent virtual meeting between corps marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, and sector commanders.
She called on the personnel to demonstrate professionalism in discharging their duties.
Ms Ogungbemi said the command would continue collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the safety of lives on the nation’s roads.
