Fraudsters posting fake admission list on social media: Covenant University

Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, has advised Nigerians to disregard the story on social media that the 2022/2023 admission list has been released.
Regina Tobi-David, Acting Registrar of the Institution, gave the advice in a press statement on Monday in Ota.
Mrs Tobi-David said that the advice became necessary for parents and students seeking admission into the university to stop them from falling victims to scammers and fraudsters.
“The attention of the Covenant University Management has been drawn to a story that the University admission list for 2023/2024 academic session is out.
“Please kindly note that this is not from Covenant University, as we are yet to commence our screening exercise. Scammers are at work again,” she said.
She urged the public to visit the university admission page on its website for additional information, adding that information from other sources should be disregarded.
