Fountain of Life Church founder Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is dead

Taiwo Odukoya, founding pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, is dead.
Mr Odukoya, 67, died on Monday in the United States, according to an announcement made via the church’s Instagram platform.
“The Fountain of Life Church family, in total submission to the will of God Almighty, announces the passing unto greater glory of our father, our teacher, a great servant of the Most High God, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, Founding Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, who passed unto glory on the 7th of August 2023 in the USA,” the statement read.
The cause of death has not been made public at the time of this report but the clergy has had a rough recent years with the loss of his second wife, Nomthi Rosemary, and twin sister, Kehinde Hassan, to cancer in 2021.
In 1994, Mr Odukoya founded his church, which he led until his passing. The church embraced and practiced community involvement under his leadership. This resulted in a number of outreach initiatives, including a hospital, an orphanage, a school for destitute children, a farm, a water project that installs boreholes in key locations for people without access to clean, potable water, and a skill-building and entrepreneurial institute for those in need.
