Several foreign leaders arrived in Kyiv on Monday to mark the third anniversary of the Ukraine crisis, local media reported.

Among the guests were European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Antonio Costa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

The leaders were greeted at the train station by Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 13 leaders would attend the event in person, with 24 others joining virtually.

The event is expected to focus on exploring avenues for peace, security guarantees for Ukraine, and broader discussions on collective security.
