FG appoints Uche Onyegbu as acting rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko

The federal government has appointed Uche Onyegbu as the acting rector of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra.
This was made known on Saturday in a letter signed by Omotayo Adeyemi, director of human resources management, federal ministry of education.
Mr Onyegbu’s appointment follows the conclusion of Dr Franca Nwafulugo’s tenure as the former rector on February 2.
Mr Onyegbu is recognised for his experience in both administration and academia, having served as a secretary to four consecutive rectors for 17 years before transitioning to teaching.
With educational qualifications, including a B.Sc, M.Sc, and MPA in Public Administration, and nearing the completion of his doctoral programme, Mr Onyegbu has demonstrated a strong commitment to academia and professional development.
He is a professional, holding memberships in bodies such as the Nigeria Institute of Public Administrators (FNIPA), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and Professional Secretaries of Nigeria (FPSN), among others.
His track record highlights his capabilities as an effective leader and educator, setting a solid foundation for his new role as the acting rector of the Federal Polytechnic Oko.
