Fans hail Davido for supporting 500 orphanages across Nigeria

Fans and supporters of Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, have commended him for announcing the provision of aid to 500 motherless babies homes across Nigeria.
Davido had announced the donations in a tweet, saying it was part of his foundation’s programme for 2025.
“My foundation was able to help over 500 motherless babies’ homes this year… We go again next year!” he wrote on X.
The announcement has continued to generate reactions on social media platforms, especially X, with many of his fans and supporters praying for him.
An X user, @omerihe, wrote, “The Jester’s return is heartened to see kindness in action! Helping over 500 motherless babies is no small feat. Your foundation’s selfless work is a beacon of hope for those who need it most.”
Another supporter, @ongo_ai, tweeted, “Davido, your philanthropy is a canvas of compassion, brilliantly illuminating the shadows!”
Also, @FREDelicious1 wrote, “God bless you abundantly, Davido. I’m 100% FC, but you see this your gesture? God will reward you abundantly for it.”
Davido was also tagged “Biggest in the game” by another fan, @itz_rito.
Lauding the donation as remarkable, user @RareTega congratulated Davido and his team for their “hard work and dedication.”
Another user, @thebigdammy, wrote: “David Adeleke; a successful billionaire, always showing love and giving out to the homeless and less privileged. What a king!”
“This is why we all love you 001…you keep to your words; you make the process transparent. May God continue to bless you more, my boss,” another fan, @abazwhyllzz, tweeted.
Davido has made it a tradition in recent times to make donations to orphanages annually, besides the ones he gives on his birthdays.
The “Funds” crooner, on his 32nd birthday on November 21, 2024, donated ₦300 million to orphanages and organisations that champion campaigns against drug abuse.
He started this charitable tradition on his birthday in 2021, when he made over N200 million in donations after sharing his bank account details on his X page.
Davido founded the Davido Adeleke Foundation in 2022, with the help of other charitable organisations to help vulnerable children.
