Facebook account of OYOSUBEB chairman hacked

The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has revealed that the Facebook account of its executive chairman, Nureni Adeniran, has been hacked.
Disclosing this in a statement on Tuesday, the board’s media team advised against responding to chats with the hackers who are allegedly defrauding Facebook friends with the account.
The board added that its chairman would not give official information through private chats on any social media platform.
The statement read, “It has come to the notice of OYOSUBEB that some unscrupulous persons have hacked into the Facebook account of our chairman, Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, and are now using the channel to defraud individuals.”
Stating that the act by the hackers “clearly violates Dr Adeniran’s privacy and must be stopped henceforth as the laws of the land frown at it,” the board said its chairman did not award contracts to anyone to purchase and warned the perpetrators of “this unscrupulous act to desist from it”.
The public was also warned not to add any parody account disguising as Nureni Aderemi Adeniran on Facebook.
