Ex-foreign affairs minister Dubem Onyia dies

Ex-foreign affairs minister Dubem Onyia has died.
Mr Onyi died on Monday. He was 73.
Mr Onyia’s demise was announced in a statement on Tuesday by Emeka Onyia, a relative, who spoke on behalf of the family.
Mr Onyia died after a brief illness, according to the statement.
“He was a devoted husband, father, brother, a trailblazer, respected leader, a mentor to many, and a man of great integrity.
“His contributions extended beyond government service, touching the lives of many through his wisdom, generosity, and dedication to improving lives,” Mr Emeka said
Mr Onyia was survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and siblings.
