EPL: West Ham beat miserable Manchester United

Manchester United continued with their uninspiring poor performance in the English Premier League on Saturday, losing to West Ham United.
Coming from sharing points with Liverpool in their last game, the Red Devils were humiliated 2-0 at London Stadium, suffering their 8th defeat in the league this season.
Though both teams went into the first-half break without goals, the Hammers came into the second half pushing through to grab all three points to displace United on the EPL log.
Jarrod Bowen broke the deadlock for West Ham in a game that appeared to be heading into a goalless draw, scoring in the 72nd minute after a brilliant one-two with Lucas Paqueta.
Six minutes later, Mohammed Kudus, doubled Hammers lead, capitalising on Kobbie Mainoo’s mistake to bury the ball behind Andre Onana.
With Saturday’s victory, West Ham moved up into the top six heading into Christmas break, while United dropped to 8th position on the league log.
