EPL: Spurs warm Arsenal fans’ hearts with dent on Man City

Not a few Arsenal fans are full of praise for Tottenham Hotspur over their win against Manchester City on Sunday.
The second-placed Citizens had been hoping to capitalise on Arsenal’s Saturday loss at the hands of Everton to heat the English Premier League title race. But things didn’t work out for them as they were pipped 1-nil by the inconsistent Spurs.
An Early goal by veteran striker Harry Kane ensured Spurs returned the favour for the 4-2 spanking they received at the Etihad a few weeks back.
Kane’s 15th minute goal became the only goal that saw Spurs snatch three crucial points away from City.
Pep Guardiola’ boys played well, dominating ball possession but could not pull an equaliser to escape another defeat this season.
The EPL table remains the way it was with Arsenal atop with 50 points in 20 games while City are second with 45 points in 21 games. Manchester United are now third on the log with 42 points in 21 games.
