Enyimba FC determined to end premier league on positive note Sunday: Official

Media Officer of Enyimba International FC of Aba, Samson Orji, has said the club is ready to end the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League on a good note against visiting Plateau United in Aba.
Enyimba will take on Plateau United in their last match of the 2024/2025 NPFL season by 4p.m on Sunday.
Mr Orji, who stated this while addressing journalists in Aba on Saturday, said that Eyimba would defeat the visitors from Plateau just for pride.
He said, “As the title race has long been decided and continental hopes extinguished for both sides, this fixture carries far more than just three points. It is about identity, it is about pride, it is about finishing with heads held high in front of loyal fans who have stood tall through the highs and lows. For Enyimba, it is a moment of reckoning, Head Coach Stanley Eguma, who took charge with ambition and authority will be rallying his troops for one final charge.
“This is a chance to leave a lasting impression and underline the club’s enduring pedigree, despite narrowly missing out on a continental ticket. Enyimba knows what this game means to their fans, a fanbase whose voice echoes through Aba like a storm under the rain or sunshine.’’
The media officer said, “Enyimba owe its numerous fans a good performance, a victory, and a parting gift to cherish through the offseason. It is more than a match, a final act of defiance, a tribute to tradition, and a bold statement of intent ahead of what promises to be a revitalised campaign next season. Enyimba against Plateau United is not just a match, but a battle for pride, glory, and the badge.’’
