Enugu Rangers, Kwara United settle for goalless in NPFL week 24

Enugu Rangers Football Club on Sunday drew 0-0 with Kwara United FC of Ilorin in the week 24 of Nigerian Professional Football League 2023/2024.
The match, played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, saw the two teams struggling to outdo each other but none could find the back of the net.
Technical Adviser of Rangers, Fidelis Illechukwu, blamed his team’s lackluster performance on fatigue.
He said that Rangers had been playing with the same set of players in the last five to six games and as human beings, they were bound to be tired.
“We plan to make five to six changes in our next game against Kano Pillars in Kano. In football, you win some and lose some; so, we prepare for the next game,” Mr Illechukwu said.
On his part, Chief Coach of Kwara United FC, Tunde Sani, praised his team for withstanding the pressure from Rangers.
“It was a good game. We had to sit back against attacking conscious Rangers and with this draw, we are coming up the table,” Sani said.
