#EndHunger mayhem instigators plotted to negotiate power with Tinubu: Keyamo

Minister of aviation and aerospace development, Festus Keyamo, has claimed that the plan of those who instigated #EndHunger protesters to unleash mayhem in Nigeria, was to negotiate power with President Bola Tinubu.
The lawyer and former human rights activist, made the claim in a post on his official X handle on Tuesday in reaction to the violence and looting that has characterised the protest which entered its sixth day.
“Their real intention is to force the hand of Mr. President to negotiate power with them. It is as simple as that,” he alleged.
According to him, even if the president redrafted his August 4, 2024 speech several times, those with evil intentions would continue to justify instigating mayhem.
Mr Keyamo said, “Even if Mr. President Bola Tinubu redrafts his wonderful speech one million times over, those with nefarious intentions will continue to pooh pooh it, in order to justify their continued instigation of mayhem.”
He, however, lamented that, “The fall guys are the ignorant, but patriotic compatriots on social media screaming their heads off and the robbers and hoodlums that are rampaging on the streets.”
He also alleged that “unseen hands” are currently playing a complex chess game of power in the country.
