ECCIMA assures fair deal, quality products at Enugu trade fair

The Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture has assured of reduced prices and good-quality products at the forthcoming Enugu International Trade Fair.
ECCIMA’s director-general, Uche Mba, gave the assurance in an interview in Enugu on Thursday.
Mr Mba said that participants and shoppers would enjoy free access, reduced prices, and quality products and services at the fair, which will begin on Friday.
“Exhibitors have agreed to reduce prices and to bring the best quality of products and services to the fair. The chamber is interested in creating a seamless meeting point between manufacturers, service providers and members of the public,” he said.
Mr Mba said that companies from China, India, Tunisia, and other countries will participate in the 10-day trade fair.
Mr Mba said it was within the chamber’s mandate to facilitate business and trade and create conducive meeting points for commerce to flourish.
He further said that the chamber was working with the police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to ensure adequate security at the event.
“Exhibitors and participants are assured of adequate security. The Enugu International Trade Fair has never had security challenges since its inception.
“We also wish to assure that electricity supply will be stable during the fair. Adequate arrangements have been made for that,” Mr Mba said.
