Easter: FRSC deploys 730 regular, special marshals in Delta

Udeme Eshiet, sector commander, FRSC, Delta, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Asaba.
The Easter special patrol operation is one of the corps’ road traffic crash fatality and injury reduction activities, especially during festive seasons when high vehicular movement is witnessed on Nigerian highways.
He said, “Delta State is very strategic because it is taking place during the construction of a permanent diversion to the second Niger bridge.
“This significant work of the federal government calls for effective collaboration to achieve the set time goal.
“Thus the heavy traffic being witnessed along Asaba – Onitsha and Onitsha – Asaba Highways.
“The FRSC traffic management teams are daily on ground to ensure seamless traffic flow with particular attention given at the construction site for a seamless in and out flow of Julius Berger trucks.”
