Deontay Wilder makes superb return to boxing with first round knockout against Helenius

Deontay Wilder made a superb return to boxing with a resounding first round knockout against Rober Helenius at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn on Saturday.
The former heavyweight champion got his first victory since he was consecutively beaten by Tyson Fury, the last fight being in October last year.
Three minutes to the end of first round, the Bronze Bomber won convincingly with 43-2-1 (42 KOs).
“When you fight Deontay Wilder, you have to have your A-plus-plus game,” Wilder said after the game. “I set him up. I allowed him to reach and when he reached, I attacked. It was a great fight.”
With this victory, Wilder could push for a fight with Oleksandr Usyk, who presently owns the three belts, or former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
