Davido doesn’t have my money; I’m highest paid in Africa’s history: Burna Boy

Nigerian Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy says he is the “highest paid” music artist in the history of Africa and that his compatriot Davido cannot boast of having his kind of money.
After claiming to be Africa’s highest-paid artist, Burna Boy during an Instagram live, questioned a fan who said Davido was richer than him, asking “how, how” as he laughed uncontrollably.
Earlier, in a series of tweets, the ‘Odogwu’ crooner said despite being heavily paid as a musician, money wasn’t what drives him.
“I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my Truth but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest-paid artist in the History of African music. Believe it or not,” he tweeted.
Driven by his musical craft, the artist says all he wants in life is for people to watch him perform on stage and exempted from anything politics.
“I thank God and the world for giving me this, I just wish the world would leave me out of all politics and just let/watch me perform tillI die, the only time my heart feels genuine peace is on stage and that’s where I want to live and die,” he said.
The 30-year-old superstar has over 47 prestigious nominations and 23 wins worldwide, including the 63rd Annual Grammy “best world music album”.
Burna Boy and Davido, who have always taken direct and indirect jabs at each other, settled their long time beef early this year.
