Dapo Abiodun gifts Tinubu ‘Sword of Jagaban’ for exemplary leadership, backs his re-election

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has presented a ceremonial sword, referred to as the “Sword of Jagaban” (leaders of warriors and conquerors) to President Bola Tinubu.
The gift presentation came after Mr Tinubu’s visit to Ogun State to inaugurate the Gateway International Airport in the state.
Speaking after the presentation, Mr Abiodun said the sword, referencing the traditional title ‘Jagaban,’ represented a symbol of leadership, strength and underscores authority and courage.
According to him, the gesture was not merely ceremonial but a strong endorsement of Mr Tinubu’s leadership.
He urged Mr Tinubu to continue his efforts in tackling crime, corruption, and other national challenges, assuring him of Ogun State’s firm alignment with his leadership including backing his re-election.
Mr Abiodun reaffirmed Ogun State’s loyalty and pledging continued support for his administration.
