Mrs Latunji also ordered that each of the sureties must provide evidence of ownership of a landed property within Ibadan as well as a six-month bank draft.

The prosecuting counsel, Inspector Oluseye Akinola had earlier told the court that the duo committed the crime on July 23 at Sanyo area, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Akinola said that Olasinde and Adeleke connived to steal the Howo truck with registration number LAR 283 XB valued at N150 million from where it was parked.

The prosecutor also said that the truck which was carrying 2,400 cartons of HoneyWell Spaghetti valued at N36 million was impounded by the Oyo State Traffic Management Authority (OYTMA) for breaching some traffic regulations and was parked at the scene where the defendants stole it.
