Cleric urges youths to strive for excellence in 2024

Pastor Timilehin Gabriel of the Christ Kingdom Church, Ilorin, has advised youths to strive to be better in the new year.
Mr Gabriel gave the advice in Ilorin on Saturday in an interview with journalists.
He said that youths should not relax because of their past achievements but should add value to their lives.
According to him, many youths get carried away by little achievements and fail to make more efforts.
”This is year 2024; strive to be better. Explore every opportunity that comes your way.
“Set new targets and work toward achieving them. Don’t start celebrating your past achievements.
“Be creative, learn new skills and don’t be lazy to try new things,” he advised.
The cleric admonished the youth to stop waiting for governments to do everything for them.
He urged them to believe in their abilities and be determined to succeed.
