Civil Defence nabs 55 political thugs in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Kano says it has arrested 55 suspects for alleged political thuggery and vandalisim in Kumbosto Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesman of the Corps, DSC Ibrahim Abdullah, confirmed the arrest on Thursday in Kano.
He said that the suspects on Thursday attacked unsuspecting residents, snatched valuables, destroyed and set vehicles ablaze along Zaria Road fly over.
“We have recovered dangerous weapons from the suspects and commenced investigation,” he said, adding that the suspects would be charged to court.
