Cameroon stun Burkina Faso to win bronze in epic third-place playoff

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon completed an epic turnaround against Burkina Faso in the third place playoff match at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations to claim the bronze medal.
The Stallions raced into a 3-0 lead by the start of the second half and seemed destined to clinch third place before Angers striker, Stephan Bahonen, and the competition’s topscorer, Vincent Aboubakar, who came in as a substitute scored two goals to level the score at the death.
Ajax goalkeeper, Andre Onana, would be the star of the eventual penalty shootout, saving third penalty from Ibrahim Toure to ensure that what looked like a disastrous end to the tournament for the hosts ended in celebratory fashion.
