Bus conductor sentenced to prison for stealing window

The Area Court in Jos on Friday sentenced Pandan Nandon to six months in prison for stealing an iron window.
The judge, Shawomi Bokkos, sentenced the convict after he pleaded guilty to the offence.
The judge gave the convict the option of a ₦35,000 fine or six months’ imprisonment.
Earlier, the police prosecutor, Daniel Damulak, told the court that the case was reported at the B Division police station, Bukuru, on January 12 by Ishaya Joseph.
According to him, the complainant said the accused person trespassed on his school and stole one iron window.
The prosecutor further told the court that during the police investigation, the accused confessed to having committed the offence.
