Buhari to unveil new NNPC July 18: Mele Kyari

President Muhammadu Buhari will unveil the new Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on July 18, 2022.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, said this on Tuesday while receiving the CEO of the Year 2021 Award from the Leadership Newspapers Group in Abuja.
Speaking virtually from Luanda, Angola, where he is attending the meeting of the African Petroleum Conference (CAPDE VIII), Mr Kyari expressed “profound appreciation” toward the award.
The new Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021 restructured and empowered the NNPC as a new entity.
