President Muhammadu Buhari will depart for London, United Kingdom, on Wednesday to join other world leaders invited to attend King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s coronation.

In a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, the president’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, confirmed that the coronation would occur on Saturday.

It said the secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, foreign minister Geoffrey Onyeama, information minister Lai Mohammed and the national security adviser Babagana Monguno, would accompany the president.

Mr Buhari’s entourage includes the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) director-general, Ahmed Abubakar, the chairwoman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and other senior government officials.
