Battery, cable thief, buyer arrested in Lagos

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested one Eyo Wisdom for stealing batteries and armoured cables from people’s compounds.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this on his official X handle on Wednesday.
The state’s police spokesperson stated that one Kamara Mohammed, who buys the stolen items from Mr Eyo, was also arrested.
Attaching a picture of the pair to his post on his handle, Mr Hundeyin wrote, “The man on the left is 30-year-old Eyo Wisdom. He specialises in jumping into people’s compounds to steal batteries and armoured cables while the man on the right is 40-year-old Alhaji Kamara Mohammed who buys the stolen items from Eyo.’’
Mr Hundeyin added that both suspects nabbed by the MAN Centre Division of the command were currently under investigation.
