Bandits: Masari in Ilorin to pray for peace in Katsina

The prayer session was led by the chief imam of the university, Kamaladdeen Al-Mubarak, and it attracted prominent Islamic scholars from across the country.

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina has attended a special prayer session organised to restore peace and security to Katsina in Ilorin, Kwara.

Mr Masari’s media aide Al-Amin Isa disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Katsina.

“The prayer session was organised by Dr Abdulraheem Oladimeji, founder of Al-Hikima University, Ilorin, for the restoration of peace in Katsina and Nigeria in general,” said Mr Isa.

According to him, the prayer session was led by the chief imam of the university, Kamaladdeen Al-Mubarak, and it attracted prominent Islamic scholars from across the country.
