Bagudu calls for stronger bilateral relations with Germany

The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Sen. Atiku Bagudu, has called for more bilateral relations between Nigeria and Germany.
The minister said this when he received a delegation from the German embassy in his office in Abuja on Wednesday.
He said President Bola Tinubu was working on a solid economic development strategy for the country and welcomed Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
“We want more German investors to come and invest in Nigeria,” the minister said.
Mr Bagudu commended the German government for its continuous support to the country.
“The support for our democracy, direct or indirect involvement in 20 states, and the construction of roads and electricity, among others,” he said.
The Charge d’Affaires, Johannes Lehne, from the Embassy of Germany, promised to continue supporting the country.
He said they would continue supporting areas like the economy and training for the industry, healthcare, agriculture, energy, cybersecurity, and crisis redemption for conflict, among others.
Mr Lehne commended the ministry on its achievements and congratulated the minister on his appointment.
